My POP is a 'SIM-FREE UK Version' which means I can only update my firmware whenever there is an update for the 'UK SIM-FREE' models and not others like 'Orange UK Locked'!

I expect the V10H software to be avalible for the UK soon. I bought my phone on vodaphone, but it doesn't have any vodaphone icons or anything like that, and it works with any network.
What I want for future updates:
1. Smoother/faster UI (example: scrolling, which is laggy)
2. More capable Java support
3. External theme support (No hack)
4. .swf (flash games) support (No hack)
5. Zoom on camera for higher megapixel resolutions
6. Better virtual D-Pad in java games (Intead of up, down, left, right buttons, use an "analog stick" idea)
7. Better LG Pop/Cookie Pep support for Drawing panel (It is made for phones with a stylus, like the LG Cookie)
8. Better internet browser
What do you think?

I'm sorry what i meant by saying customized icons is that few gprs icons contain 'T' atom bottom left corner...I dont know if its same with other versions also  and GPRS settings for T mobile are set as undeletable! |

hey doesnt the update run on win 7 pc....after i start the update the process stops at the point lg mobile update which doesnt respond.....what is wrng???

so i guess it's up to date already.

I've just found out that If you buy your LG GD510 Pop/Cookie Pep SIM-FREE, then the latest firmware is V10G, but the Orange Locked version is up to V10H. It varies form carrier to carrier - O2 have V10C while T-Mobile are only on V10A.
If you can't update, then you have the latest firmware for your network/carrier.
